Loren and Karen Thompson left a message on April 6, 2009:
Angie, Heather and Daniel - what fun we all had on the lake together, fishing, hanging out in the fishing shanty, swimming, laughing, and kidding around. Bob was always at the center of this fun. If ever a person could make you laugh, it was Bob. Remember all the "fishin guy" stories? We will remember them forever! I also remember his great love for his family - always so proud of his children. We will always smile as we think of him, and will miss him tremendously. Thinking of you in this time of great loss.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Betty, Dave & Sue, Ken & Lynn, Angie, and families, We know that no one loved nor will miss Bob more than all of you, but we hope you find comfort in knowing that through out his life he was loved by many and will be missed by all those whose lives he touched while here on earth. Though we do not understand the reasons nor the twists of fate, we know that if you give your trouble to God, He will take your heavy burden and surround you with His love. We all have different and wonderful memories that we will hold dear. To me he will always be "Bobby" and quite the character! I cherish the childhood memories and am proud to have known him. Galen and I send you our sincere sympathy during this sad and painful time in your lives. May the Holy Spirit guide you through these difficult days and help you all find peace. Love and in prayer,

Angie, Dan, Heather, Thinking of you during this time of pain and hoping you'll find the peace you need during your your own journey. "But only God knows the weight of anothers burden." Mother Theresa. I do know you are a loving and caring wife and mother, Angie. Bob's favorite song - reveals the goodness of his heart. Here I Am Lord - "I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry. All who dwell in deepest sin my hand will save. I, who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright, Who will bear my light to them? Whom shall I send?" Heather, I was so impressed with your courage and openess in reading the letter to your father. Dan, I sensed your quiet strength and dignity. You both did your parents proud. Take good care of yourselves. I would love to keep in touch with all of you. Love Arlene Jackson
