Robert E. Pritzl, age 88, passed away Friday, October 31, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Bob was born in Greenville on November 11, 1919, son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Gresl) Pritzl.
On September 19, 1945, he married Bernice Evers at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute; Bernice passed away in 2008. Bob worked as a plasterer in the Milwaukee area for many years and enjoyed hunting and fishing on his property along with Wolf River in Fremont, Wisconsin. Bob was proud to have served in the United States Army during World War II,
Bob is survived by his brothers and sisters: Julius Pritzl of Appleton; Sr. Lucille Pritzl, OSF of St. Francis; George (Joan) Pritzl of Appleton; Victor (Donna) Pritzl of Darboy; Eldora Jimenez of El Cajon, California; Marie (Ron) Jezerc of Appleton; Lavern (Don) Monyette of Dyckesville; and Harold (Dolly) Pritzl of Appleton; and a sister-in-law: Rita Pritzl of Appleton. Bob is also survived by Bernice's family, which includes Dorothy (Don) George of Little Chute; Richard Evers of Appleton; Pat Evers of Little Chute. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bernice, brothers Richard Pritzl and Raymond (Ardina) Pritzl, a sister Bernice (Merle) Meier, and in-laws Theodore Evers, Robert (Marilyn) Evers, Marlene Evers, Isabel Pritzl and Bill Jimenez.
Funeral liturgy will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greenville, with Fr. Mark Vander Steeg officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning form 9 AM until the hour of the service.
