Dear Marge and Family: I am heartbroken by this news as you are and am sending much love and many hugs your way. My sincerest sympathies to all of you. I hardly remember married life with John without Bob! He and John were kindred spirits who connected at Wm and Mary and shared SO many moments/times together...mostly sports! Most memorable were their trips to watch the Redskins, Packers and go to the Super Bowl. John always returned home beaming because he enjoyed himself so. Perhaps their greatest trip was across Lake Michigan onto Ohio to Canton, stopping along the way at all the renown ball parks and fields. I am certain John was there to meet Bob in Heaven and I can only imagine the reminiscing they will be doing. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Nancy Hazard

Marge and family, so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful guy and a lifelong friend. I mean lifelong as our friendship goes way back to our early days in grammar school in Nutley, New Jersey. Back in those days he was a Browns fan and while I rooted for the NY Giants. His favorite phrase was " Frank Gifford can't shine Jim Brown's shoes". While he was right, I never admitted it to him back then. Linda and I will be thinking of you all! I will bring the sad news of his passing to our 60th High School reunion in early October. "Will" was a very popular guy in Nutley!

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the entire Willis family. While it's been many years since we had seen each other, our recent reconnection via phone and email (thank you Margaret for helping out with that) the memories from high school are still fresh in my mind. Dearest Bob, Rest in Peace my dear friend.💜🙏
