I would like to send my most sincere condolences to Coach Brandt's family. Coach was one of my heros, and I was inspired by him to spend 35 years of my life teaching and coaching. I spent those years trying to be as much like him as I could. A few years back, I was able to tell him that at a Three Oaks class reunion, and he seemed very please to hear it. God Bless you all. He was a great, great man.

Meeting Bob at Kiwanis Golden K, we became instant friends teasing each other all the time. We worked on the board together and he set me up to be a Kindergarten reader for his daughter at Badger Elementary. So many fun times and so many good memories. A great friend.

Some of my best memories of Roosevelt are from Mr. Brandt's classes. I had metals and printing, and enjoyed the classes and learned a lot that I use to this day. He was more than a teacher, he was a friend as well, and set an example for all of us, his students. Thanks for the time you took and the guidance you gave us, Mr. Brandt.

Audrey -- So sorry to read about Bob's passing. I remember him particularly as the very friendly person who sat behind me in Mrs. Koppin's homeroom. I was pleased to learn you and Bob had married because I always held high regard for both of you. Please accept my sympathy.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

One of the stand-out teachers at Roosevelt for me! I never had his class, but he took such a great interest in all of us! He had a tremendous sense of humor and truly treated us as adults. He made me feel like I belonged. Another reason I'm a teacher today...thanks to people like Mr. Brandt, Mr. Gurholt and so many others!!! My sincerest sympathy to his family and friends.
