Age 61, passed away while biking at his cabin in Three Lakes on Sunday, June 28, 2009. He was born December 28, 1947 in Appleton, the son of the late Richard and Anne (Pelton) Rothe. On January 6, 1974 he married his wife of 35 years, Joyce Steger, in Appleton. Rob was employed by Kimberly Clark for 33 years, primarily in marketing research.

Robert is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, John; twin sister, Mary (John) Curtis; and brothers: Richard (Barbara) Rothe and Peter (Jean) Rothe.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Rob's name is being established.
