Norma Thornton left a message on April 6, 2009:
It is with heartfelt sadness that I offer condolences to my Aunt Ethel and cousins. I have many wonderful memories of my childhood visits to Wisconsin and Michigan and Uncle Bob holds a special place in my heart. No matter what, he always seemed able to make me laugh. He did make me nervous though when he drove. Always seemed like he wanted to get to where we were going faster than the car did!!. I feel so blessed and fortunate that my mother and I were able to visit this past summer after such a long time. Our trip left us with many wonderful memories that we will always cherish. With Heartfelt Sympathy and Love, Norma

Wendy Siebers left a message on April 6, 2009:
Bob was a friend of my Mom and Dad (Bing & Janice Siebers - Kaukauna neighbors). Bob was also a good friend to the Siebers family (Art, Dale, Ron, & Floyd) who are members of the Kaukauna VFW Post #3319. I personally had the good fortune to converse with Bob during Holy Cross basketball games. Bob will certainly be remembered for filling our lives with laughter!
