Laurie and family, I wish I had magic words that could make the loss and pain go away but sadly it is all just up to time to heal. Thoughts and prayers to all of you and draw strength from each other and knowing you have the best guardian angel a person could ask for.

I am so very sorry to hear of Rita's passing. My thoughts and prayers are most certainly with you and I hope you all have the time to share memories and celebrate her life surrounded by family and friends in the days and months to come. I treasure the time I shared with Rita through Octoberfest. She embodied the heart and soul of the event, worked so hard to insure its success while meeting the needs of everyone involved. Even in retirement, Octoberfest and the community it gathered and created remained in her thoughts as she will in ours.
