Rita M. Mischler

Age 70, was reunited with her husband and son on Saturday, August 17, 2002. Rita was born in Little Chute on March 31, 1932, daughter of the late Martin and Hattie (Van Haelst) Van Eyck. She married Allan Mischler who preceded her in death in 1973. Rita enjoyed painting, collecting dolls and antiques. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Kaukauna and is survived by two daughters: Linda (Mike) Janda of New London and Diane Kelly of Seymour; four sons: Dave Mischler, Dan Mischler, and Bill Mischler all of Kaukauna and Jeff (Krista) Mischler of Kimberly; five grandchildren: Shannon (Cory) Wienandt, Jay Kelly, Ken Janda, Venesha Jones, and Melissa (Jesse) Quintanilla; two great-grandchildren: Darius and Mekhi; two brothers: Charles (Terry) Van Eyck of Darboy and Joe (Donna) Van Eyck of Springdale, Arkansas. Rita is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Allan in 1973, her son Fred in 2001, two brothers Pete (Sandy) Van Eyck and Joseph Van Eyck, and by a sister Dorothy Van Eyck.

The funeral liturgy for Rita will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Ann Street at Main Avenue in Kaukauna with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 11 AM until the hour of the service. A memorial fund has been established.
