LOHN, RITA L.

Rita Lohn, 85, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010 at Grand Horizons Assisted Livng. She was born on June 26, 1924 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Jacob and Marie (Kraus) Lohn. Rita was a longtime member of St. Therese Catholic Church where she was active with the Catholic Daughters of America, Christian Ladies of St. Therese and the Society of Our Lady Guadalupe. She volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital and St. Joseph Food Pantry.
The funeral liturgy for Rita will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, Morrison St. at Wisconsin Ave., Appleton. Fr. William Hoffman will be officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The visitation will take place on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of mass. Memorials are appreciated to the St. Joseph Food Pantry.
