A prayer from Makenna to Uncle Rick that was said at Rick's sevice. Dear Heavenly Father, We know that you will take good care of Uncle Rick. I hope that you could just give everyone the courage and strength to let us know that he's alright. We know that eventually it will be our turn to come and see you, but for now we just have to live our lives happy and proud knowing that Rick is home with you. I just pray that you will take awsome care of him and let him know that we love him and are thinking about him. In Jesus name, Amen.

To Rick from Makenna... Uncle Rick...I don't even know where to start. He is one of the best Uncles that I have ever had. He was full of so much joy & laughter. He knew how to cheer you up when you were down. He was always there for you. I'm going to miss him always talking about his motorcycle,& telling us about all the cool places that he went. But now he's where he is supposed to be. It's his home now & he can walk & do whatever he could'nt do before here on earth. He is now a healthy man & a happy man to. I know that you all miss him, but right now at this very moment he is looking down at us saying don't worry I'm alright. It's O.K to worry and it is O.K to cry, but we just always have to remember that he is home now in a better place. He is wating at the gates of heaven for all of us to come to his home with him. Not jus his home, but soon to be our home too.

Words to Uncle Rick by Bryanna... Here are a few things I would like to share for Uncle Rick. I love him.If I could list all the reasons why I love Uncle Rick you could just call me an Author, writing a series of books one after another. When ever I think about Uncle Rick It takes minutes to come back into focus even after I get into focus I can't stop thinking about him. About all the stories I have heard about Uncle Rick I've gotten to know a few things about him including these: He loves his Harley motorcycle, he probably drove it around 24/7, he loved to travel I'm guessing he's been everywhere he ever wanted to go. He loves Nascar, Jimmy Johnson he was always cheering for. The packers he liked to watch too, he worked in the pit crew for racing which he enjoyed doing very much and made a lot of good friends. Uncle Rick you will be greatly missed. We all love you.

I would like to share with everyone what was said at Ricks service. A few words to Rick from the younger nices and nephews...We love Uncle Rick. We love him so much. He was a great uncle. He always made us laugh, like when he'd make bunny ears behind our heads,he made funny faces and told us funny stories. When we think of Uncle Rick we remember how much fun it was when he cased us around, played tag with us, wrestled around with us and let us sit on his back. We love Uncle Rick. We love him so much. He was a great uncle. Uncle Rick, you are now our angel.

My heartfelt condolences to Rick's family. Ricky will be sorely missed by the many hearts he touched. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So He wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, "Come to me". You didn't deserve what you went through, So He gave you rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. And when I saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain I could not wish you back To suffer that again.

To Rick's Family, You have my very deepest sympathies at your loss. I knew Rick for the past several years getting to know him through Dave. I developed a very good freiendship with him. I found it very easy to discuss things with him and he was always eager to listen and understand. It was not hard to like him as he made it easy to do that. We certainly wanted his time here longer than what he had. Rick had a larger than life spirit that many felt and had experienced in his lifetime. Many benefited from knowing him and received help and friendship that he freely offered to everyone. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it! A spirit as large as Ricks has touched many people in his lifetime. His presence will be felt for many years to come. He loved life and life loved Rick. We share in your loss and are better for knowing him and allowing us to share in his life. We love and miss you Rick! God keep you till we meet again. Lennie & Gail Heling
