Richard V. Mahn, formerly of Kaukauna, died on July 20, 2011 at the Plymouth Care Center in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Richard was born on October 3, 1922, in Kaukauna, the son of Arnold and Mary (Brouwers) Mahn. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1940.

Richard served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the South Pacific during World War II. After leaving the military, he graduated from the Wisconsin State University-Stout in Menominee with a degree in industrial arts. He taught industrial arts shop classes at high schools in Almont, Michigan, Menominee Falls and South Milwaukee, before being employed for many years by AC Sparkplug in Oak Creek. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Little Chute.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Gerald. He is survived by four sisters: Karen (Paul) Scott of Plymouth, Marion (David) Spangenberg of Hollandtown, Margaret (August) Kneepkens of Kaukauna and Lynn (David) Williams of Anchorage, Alaska; and his brother, Carlton (Judy) Mahn of Kaukauna.

Private funeral arrangements are being made.
