Dear Phyl & family, So sorry to read about Dick. And also to extend our sympathy. We are out of town and will not be back in time for the service. May all your wonderful memories -- happy memories -- help during this difficult time. Hugs and God bless! (In case the name doesn't register, I am Peter & Mary Diedrick's granddaughter.)

I remember many afternoons after school where I would go over to the Huelsbeck's home with their son Phil. I remember that Mr. Huelsbeck made the best ice cream ever. He would get cream from the factory and make it down in the basement. Even though it has been about 35 years since I last had that ice cream, I still can recall how good it was. Thanks for all the ice cream memories Mr. Huelsbeck

Dick would come every year to Hilbert High School, often with his son Mark, to help my students create Christmas wreaths. He truly enjoyed working with the high schoolers, combining patience with humor as he taught them. He also donated many plants and succulents to our school. What a wonderful man!
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Dick was the best neighbor anyone could have. He was always happy and very helpful when I needed help. I will truly miss seeing him outside in his garden and his flower beds. He would always have a surprise for me of veggies or a plant on my picnic table. And his canned pickles in the fall. He would holler over the fence Good Morning Sue, isn't it a beautiful day? I will always remember him. Memories are timeless treasures of the heart. Not Good-Bye but So Long Dick....RIP My thoughts and prayers are with Dick and all the family at this sad time. With Deepest Sympathy, Sue Green and Bill Bruehl
