Dick was employed for 25 years at Foreway Express of Appleton. He was a Union Steward for 15 years, and also served on the Board of Directors for Local 563 for 15 years. Dick loved retirement, and would spend much of his time golfing, woodworking, hunting, cheering the Green Bay Packers, spending time at his cabin in Florence; but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family and teasing his grandchildren. JOHN'S SACRED HEART CHURCH, N341 Military Road, Sherwood, with Father Ken Frozena officiating. Interment will be at St. John's Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, April 9 from 4 until 8 p.m., and again at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

Behind the smiles there are many tears for the one we lost and loved so dear. Others are taken, yes we know, but he was ours and we loved him so. The tears we shed we can wipe away, but the ache in our hearts will stay. If teardrops would build a stairway and memories were a lane, we'd walk all the way to heaven and bring him back again. We love and miss you dad.
