In your memory of Dick, you only have answer one question "was his life better or worse because you were in it"? After fifty years you know it was better. Joyce and I will keep you both in our prayers.
Kas Mantz left a message on December 13, 2019:
From the email discussions Dick and I shared recently, he was tired of the health struggles and was ready to earn his Angel wings and go home to his Eternity. A man of faith, he knew that it would all be good. When we lived in WI, he worked with my husband, Jack, building homes. We never found an issue in the building arena that Dick could not fix. He was a great friend. The light of his life was his granddaughter, Ella. He was always sending pictures of her to me and bragging about how clever she is. He was proud of his son, Jeremy, and daughter-in-law, Chelsea and deeply loved his bride of 50 years, Sandy. And cuddles from the cat, Gracie. I will miss our cyber communications. You are in our prayers for the peaceful Eternity you richly have earned, dear friend, Dick. Love, Kas, and Jack Mantz

Words can not express how much we are going to miss Dick. He has been such a good friend since high school. There isn't a place in this house that Dick hasn't had a hand in. He was always there whenever we needed help. Never asking for anything or taking anything....okay maybe a beer or two. RIP Dick Always, Stan and Betsy
