My dear Sharon and family. You have lost a wonderful husband and father but the Lord has taken home a good and faithful servant. Blessed are they who die in the Lord. Judy

Pastor Louis was a wonderful friend and super person. I met him when we were both employed at Bergstrom Automotive. We saw each other at the Good Friday Tre Ore service and did a big double-take. Monday we found out we were both WELS. Later I worked at the Pontiac store with him. Dorothy Lee was all excited because she had just been confirmed at Mount Olive. Louis was instrumental in her finding Jesus. Actually she was a different Religion but didn't attend etc. I wasn't happy at my church and wanted the fervor of Dorothy, thanks to Louie. I transferred to Mount Olive and was so happy there, completely fulfilled every Sunday. Now I'm in SW Missouri love Peace Lutheran but miss Mount Olive. Pastor Raasch married Dave and me, Sharon played the organ and Pastor Louie said the dinner prayer. He was a great man and example of his Christian faith. He will be truly missed.

My heart goes out to you, here is a passage I find comfort in....John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Dear Sharon and family, My heart is heavy - for you and with you. Pastor and Sharon have been my friends for almost 50 years, and I watched you girls grow up, as well, so his death does leave a big void in my life. There are so many memories that will keep him always in my heart, and knowing that he is in heaven and with the Lord forever gives me great comfort. Know that I do care. God bless! Rodney Binder
