lynn timmins left a message on April 6, 2009:
Raymie was a special part of this family and a deep hole has been left. He is admired for his compassion of others. No matter what happened I have never heard him ever say anything bad about anyone nor would he tolerate anyone to say anything bad about anyone to him. It was the one thing he had that I wished I would have more of, Forgiveness and understanding. He never locked a door in his life in case someone needed a place to stay. He loved people and was always there for them. Above all he loved his children. We loved him, I loved him, and I lost a very special brother but he will be in my heart, my memories and life forever.
Grandma Timmins left a message on April 6, 2009:
Kelly, Jeff, Heather, Jon, and Sara. This is from Grandma and Aunt Lynne. We are both so proud of all of you for the extreme care and sacrifices you made at the end for your father. He was so proud of you children. Grandma was very touched and overwelmed with pride on the way you reached out to him and cared for him. It made his last days easier and made Grandma feel better about a lot of things. It was important for Grandma to be there for you children and she only wished she was stronger health wise to do more for you but is glad you are strong for each other and support each other at a time like this. She is honored that you would think of her with the flag and is very touched, I can not tell you the pride she has in you all for the care you took in Raymond, and we know that it was not easy these last months with all the decisions that needed to be made. You did a wonderful job and we are proud of all of you. We love you, we are here for you and our hearts are with you. May your pain be eased with the knowledge that he is finally resting peacefully which he deserves after all these years. We love each and every one of you and thank you for your care of Raymond. We know there is not much we can do but what we can do is be here when you need us so stop by any time or call and talk we are home almost alway. Love you Grandma and Lynne
