Uncle Ray, my Godfather, was a good man - fun, energetic, and loving. My dearest memory will always be his usual birthday gift to me each year as a boy - a brand new pair of Levi's jeans! My family could never afford much more than secondhand clothing growing up, so it truly was a thoughtful and meaningful gift. Watching his example as a loving father has influenced who I am as a father today. Every time I have coached my kids in sports, I always recall the photos of Uncle Ray coaching his children through the years. Perhaps the greatest testament to the success of his life, above all, is reflected in Lucas and Laura and their families. He has left a legacy that will carry on forever. I miss you Uncle Ray.
