Chris Robertson left a message on October 13, 2021:
God bless Raymond's family. My father, Joseph Robertson, passed away in May at 1 month away from age 95. He was a shipmate aboard the Ommaney Bay and after the war was a pastor for above 50 years. I have been trying to find a copy of Mr. Gensler's book but so far, no copy is available. Most accounts of the engagements their ship was in, give the Ommaney Bay a mention or two. Dad held his peace, mostly, and kept his war experiences to himself, understandably.
