Age 78, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at Appleton Medical Center following a lingering illness. He was born on October 7, 1922 in Appleton the son of the late William and Linda (Thiel) Woehler. He owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of Greenville for many years after which time he worked at Miller Electric Corporation until he retired. He was a long time member of First English Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his son Jack (Peggy) Woehler of Appleton, two grandchildren Erin and Ryan of Appleton, and his cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois, a son James Woehler, and his brother Alden.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 21, 2001 at 11:00 AM at First English Lutheran Church at the corner of North and Drew Streets with the Rev. Willis Bloedow officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-8 PM and on Monday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
