Priscilla J. “Jane” Kitelinger, age 86, of Appleton, died on December 28, 2013 at Brewster Village. Priscilla was born on May 20, 1927 in Beloit, Wisconsin to the late Allen & Ruth (Greer) Edgerton. She married Robert Kitelinger on August 12, 1948, in Beloit. Priscilla graduated from South Beloit, Illinois, High School in 1945. She was employed at Gardner Machinery and later at Bredesen's Office Supply. Jane and Bob were members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Beloit and Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Appleton. They moved to Appleton in 1994.
Survivors include her children: Kathleen M (Gerald) Brien, Kaukauna, Wisconsin; Bruce A. Kitelinger, Seattle, Washington; her grandchildren: Nathalie Brien, Little Chute; Nicole (Chris) Bourassa, Oshkosh; Noel (Jim) Doering, Neenah; Ben (Jana) Kitelinger, Chevonne Kitelinger and Alex Kitelinger, all of Washington State; great grandchild, Connor, Oshkosh, and a future great grandchild to be born in June; her sisters-in-law: Mabel Laird, Ohio and Betty Mc Donald, South Carolina; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Virginia and Howard Johnson and a sister-in-law Gladys Wright.
A private family viewing and interment will take place at Floral Lawn Cemetery in South Beloit.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff and social workers at Brewster Village and Heartland Hospice Care.
