Dr. Linda A. Woodard left a message on April 6, 2009:
Dear Kitty, daughter and son-n-law (Cathy and Michael Ehrhardt family), and entire Wilbourne family; My sincerest condolances and encouragement to you. It has been more than enriching to my life to have known your family for these past 28 years. We had some enjoyable times on the lake in WI and have shared many joys and trials in life. The sorrow of us here on earth is greatly comforted by the magnitude of joy in knowing one who was written in the Lamb's Book of Life is now in the presence of Christ. You will continue to be in my prayers, as you have been during these challenging days. Strength, peace, encouragement and joy to you -- Sincerely, Dr. Linda A. Woodard Tampa Bay, Florida

Dear Wilbourne Family: So sorry to hear about Preston. Though it has been a lot of years I remember Preston well when he worked here with Piedmont Airlines in the reservation office. I was a dispatcher for Piedmont for 35 years and the dispatch and reservations offices back in those days befor computers were on either side of communications office in order for us to send/recieve messages. We would visit and talk airline stuff. I knew when he went to Wisconsin he would be a success. I retired from Piedmont in 1987 and I am 80 years old and presently in good health. I am sorry for your loss and your will be in my prayers. Sincerely, Frank J. Perry, Sr. Retired Flight Dispatcher Piedmont Airlines.

Enjoyed knowing and working with Preston (at least 2 years or more.) He always would stop (on through flights to Roanoke) in Charleston WV, come in, and say hello to everyone. A professional, and a caring person. I was sorry to see him leave Air Wisconsin. But I can proudly say, I was at least privledged to know and work with him. My sympathies to you, and the family. Dave Moore (past city mgr-CRW)
Capt. David DeKoker, Ret. left a message on April 6, 2009:
Preston helped make the first Air Wisconsin the Legacy that it remains today. It was a sad day when he had to turn over our airline leadership to UAL Corp. He was a total work-a-holic and his car could often be seen at the office as we put our last flight into the hangar for the night! Rest In Peace, Preston! Kitty, my deepest condolences to you and the family.

Dear Kitty (and family): Our deepest concolences to you and your family. I want to Thank You for always standing by Preston's side. It didn't go un-noticed! Through the "tough times" I know you were always supporting him. That support has translated into a wonderful life, career and retirement for my family and I. Of the many lives touched by Preston I am one. Because of his vision, I/we received the blessing. Our Air Wisconsin Family will surely miss him and will always be thankful for the time we had to enjoy him. As the Lord brings you and your family to my mind, I will pray for the peace that only He can bring during this time of mourning. Respectfully, Dean, Anita Bland and family,
