You may ask, "what is a Bumpa?" and to this we all will say, "A Bumpa is someone special to us in every single way," Bumpa was always there for us and let us know he cared, Bumpa took our fear away whenever we felt scared. Bumpa was a quiet man with the kindest sort of heart, Bumpa held our lives together whenever they fell apart. Bumpa took on every task with a chuckle and a smile, And Bumpa made us feel okay if only for a while. Bumpa could fix anything, but especially a frown, He used the greatest tool of all, his heart, to turn it upside down. Bumpa was a handsome man with a hearty head of hair, And on Father's day he was taken from us which just does not seem fair. Although the fact that he is gone is a fact we wish wasn't true, We must remember our Bumpa for the person we loved, and knew. He looks down on us with hopes that we will keep him in our lives, But this is easy for in our hearts Bumpa always thrives. I love you Bumpa and I will never forget you. -Brad Sprangers

Pete was always my favorite great uncle, and he always had a smile on his face. I haven't had the chance to see him in the past few years, being away from Wisconsin, and that saddens me. I remember talking with him as a child, and he just seemed like the nicest person on earth. We're lucky to be having someone so wonderful watching down and looking out for us. God Bless you Uncle Pete. Rest in Peace.
