Patti Pagel

Pagel, Patricia (Patti) E.Patti E. Pagel, 65, died suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, due to complications of cancer and other medical conditions.

Patti was born on Nov. 18, 1948, in Neenah, WI, to the late Robert and Lucille Pagel (Hickey). Growing up in Wisconsin she attended St. John's Grade School, St. Mary's High School and Alverno College prior to moving to Massachusetts. She continued her education at Framingham State College (University) were she received her Bachelor's Degree. Patti worked at Framingham Union Hospital for 26 years through all of their name and company changes. She always made time for family and friends. If you needed a smile – you called Patti. As an active member of numerous groups and circles of friends she was able to travel the world and enjoy treasures that most of us would only dream of having.

She is survived by two siblings, Robert Pagel, Appleton, WI and Tamara Pagel, Chicago, IL; two children, John Pesaturo, Attleboro, MA and Paula Brawn, Southbridge, MA; and three grandchildren, Jaymes, Nathan and Alexia.

Wisconsin waking hours will be from 12 – 2 on Dec. 14, 2013, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St, Menasha, WI, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2 – 4. Patti would appreciate knowing that her family and friends were coming together to share photos and stories. A Celebration of Life will also be held in Massachusetts on Jan. 11, 2013, at Shadowbrook Condominiums Function Hall at Shadowbrook Ln, in Milford, MA from 1 – 3. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice. She was deeply involved with Special Olympics and wanted to help families fund non-medically covered related needs like the Neely House located near Tufts in Boston.
