Patti L. Schroeder

Patti (nee Gill) Schroeder, age 69 of Neenah, passed away at her home on Thursday evening, February 8, 2018. Patti was born in Waupaca on April 2, 1948, daughter of the late James and Mabel (Pagel) Gill. A 1966 graduate of Neenah High School, Patti worked for American Can from 1969 until 1979; as a truck driver for Dairyland Transport from 1979 until 1988; and at SCA Tissue in Menasha until 2011. All who knew Patti knew of her love for dogs - she was a member of the Chesapeake Retriever Rescue of Wisconsin.

Patti is survived by her son: Lee Schroeder of Neenah; a sister: Susan (Merlin) Kersten of Appleton; a brother: Thomas (Judy) Gill of Neenah; two nephews and a niece: Jeremy (Jennifer) Gill, Jamie (Natalie) Gill, and Jennifer (fiancé Joe) Gill. Her great-nephews include Ian, Alex, Colin, and Blake. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Terry Garcia.

The Christian Funeral Service for Patti will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at RIVERVIEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 136 W. Seymour Street in Appleton, with Rev. Adam Bode officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
