Patsy A. Draeger

March 17, 1934 — November 21, 2017

The Lord granted Patsy Ann Draeger’s prayers and delivered her from her pain & suffering into eternal life in Heaven on November 21, 2017. Patsy was born on March 17, 1934 to the late Herbert and Agnes (Pagel) Streeter. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. On May 5, 1956, she married Arden Draeger in Fond du Lac, who passed away from a heart attack on January 19, 1988, at the age of 51. For many years she took care of her children and volunteered at church and school. She was employed at AAL/Thrivent for 20 years until her retirement.

Patsy loved her outside flowers and never had enough hanging baskets full of them in the summer. She knitted baby hats for ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton, and enjoyed her puzzle books and keeping up with family and friends on Facebook.

Patsy is survived by her daughters: Diane (Richard) Hesse, of Appleton, Dawn (Dean) Wolf, of Kaukauna; sons: David (Bonnie) Draeger, of Wrightstown, Dean (Marlene) Draeger, of Montello, and Dale (Dawn) Draeger, of Appleton; grandchildren: Scott (Susan) Hesse, Jennifer (Cole) Moureau, Mark (Julianna) Hesse, Timothy (Brittany) Hesse, Nicole (Travis) Heiting, Staci Wolf, Kristi (Dan Moenke) Draeger, Kendal (Adam) Weber, Derek (Carol) Draeger, Dustin Draeger; and great-grandchildren: Lucas Pelky, Hayden Hesse, Emily Hesse, Eiden Moureau, Linus Hesse, Leif Hesse, Charlotte Trudell, Owen Trudell, Vernon Sheldon, Autumn Weber, Khloe Weber, and Jack Weber. She is further survived by sisters-in-law: Joyce Streeter, of Fond du Lac, Gilda Wegner, of Van Dyne, and Gladys (Earl) Rohde, of Waupun; special friends: Diane and Roger Wilke; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Dowland, and brother, Kenneth Streeter.
