Patricia Waselchuk

December 21, 1926 — February 17, 2017

Pat Waselchuk, age 90, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17th, 2017 at Renaissance Assisted Living. Pat was born on December 21, 1926 in Coleman, WI to Harry and Emma Martens. She married Dan Waselchuk on June 17, 1950. Pat was an avid bridge player and golfer, and enjoyed watching sports and spending time with family and friends. She was a dedicated hospice care giver for over 35 years and a generous and fun-loving person with a wonderful sense of humor.

Pat is survived by her children: Peter (Terri) Waselchuk, Sue (Mike) Knier, Tom (Dana Johnson) Waselchuk, Mary (David) Rasmussen, Mark (Kari) Waselchuk, Judy (John) Wilson, Kathy (Jim) Ghere, Lori (Shenid Bhayroo) Waselchuk and Amy (Dan) Steckel; 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Pat is also survived by her brothers Don (Fern) Martens, Larry (Rita) Martens and a sister Mary (Richard) Ziemer.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Dan; brothers Lenny, Frank (Mavis), and Tom (Joyce) Martens; sisters Louise (Donald) Malmstadt, Evelyn (Bob) Bachhuber, Sr. Stephanie Martens and Denny (Ronald) Frank.

The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 West Pine Street in Appleton, with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Appleton. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established in her name to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley or The Harbor House of Appleton.
