Patricia "Pat" R. Fisher

Patricia “Pat” R. Fisher, age 78, of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Patricia was born on March 5, 1937 in New London to the late Milo Komp and Josephine (Hurbon) Berghuis.
Pat was a 1955 graduate of Menasha High School. She married the love of her life Jerald “Jerry” Fisher on September 7, 1957 at St. Therese Catholic Church. Together they were blessed with three beautiful daughters and shared fifty-six years of marriage. Pat worked in a secretarial position for many years.
Pat enjoyed going to the casino, bowling, playing the piano, cooking and knitting was a favorite pastime. She also enjoyed watching old movies and especially the Green Bay Packers. Together Pat and Jerry spent many weeks and weekends up north at their cottage with family creating many wonderful memories. Above all Pat truly loved attending her grandkids activities and was very proud of all of them.
She is survived by her three daughters, Julie (Mike) Schmidt, Neenah; Jean (Steve) Gloudemans, Appleton; and Jan (Mark) Lewin, Freedom; her grandchildren, Amy and Kurt Schmidt, Kristen (Christopher) Heaver, Neil Gloudemans, and Alexa and Erika Lewin. She is further survived by her sister, Kathy Heitl; sisters-in-law, Bernie Fisher, and Laurie Fisher; brother-in-law, Tom Stadler, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry on January 6, 2014; her grandsons, Andrew Gloudemans, and Nicholas Lewin; and her sister, Margaret Stadler. Pat is also preceded in death by her husband's brothers, Francis, Cyril, Joseph, John and James; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret and Dolores.
The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 13, 2015 at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 N. McDonald Street, Appleton, with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday starting at 9:00 am until the time of the service. Inurnment will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Cherry Meadows, Theda Care Hospice; especially, Katie, Bonnie, Kelly, Robin and Barb and Dr. Guenther, Dr. Swanson and Dr. Juntunen for all their compassionate care given to Pat and her family during this very difficult time. Her family would like to also thank their dear friend, Donna Henne, for all her diligent care given to Pat.
Mom, you've always been there for us. Thanks for being the best mom ever! Love always, Julie, Jean and Jan.
