Patricia M. Schink

July 1, 1920 — February 10, 2021

Patricia Schink, age 100, passed away Wednesday morning, February 10, 2021 at Edenbrook of Appleton. She was a resident there for over ten years and enjoyed the staff and loved all her new family of friends. She enjoyed her numerous field trips that they took and there were days she gave them a run for their money with her sassy sense of humor.

Patricia was born in Appleton on July 1, 1920, daughter of the late Clifford and Clara (Olm) Smith.

On September 28, 1940, she married the love of her life Conrad Schink (celebrated 68 years together) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton. In her younger days she enjoyed dancing, bowling, golf, renting a yearly cottage to fish, and especially her endless Sunday drives.

Patricia is survived by her children: Jeffrey Schink of Appleton; Stephen (Beverly) Schink of Kaukauna; Cynthia (John) Paul of Appleton; Charles Schink of Mountain; son-in-law Charles Milheiser of Chilton;  daughter-in-law Janice Schink of Kaukauna; eleven grandchildren and more than twenty great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A daughter Lynn (Schink) Milheiser; grandsons Todd Schink and Danny Paul.

A special thank you to the entire staff at Edenbrook of Appleton! The love, compassion and professionalism you show to all the resident patients is amazing. We were blessed to have chosen this facility!  Our thanks also to Compassus Hospice for their loving touches and guidance through this final journey!

Due to current health conditions, the family is planning a private service.
