Patricia High

March 2, 1965 — October 29, 2010

HIGH, PATRICIA A.

Patricia A. High, age 45, of Appleton, passed away in the ICU at Appleton Medical Center on October 29, 2010, with her loving family at her side. As a non-smoker, Pat waged a courageous eleven-month battle with lung cancer. Everyone who knew Pat will never forget what a beautiful person she was inside and out, as well as the courage and bravery she showed as she battled the cancer that took her from us much too soon. Pat was born on March 2, 1965, to Bob and Jean (Mathy) Greinert and graduated from Hortonville High School in 1983. She began her career at Robert W. Baird & Company and was most recently employed at High/Bardon Wealth Management as a Series 7 Licensed Administrative Assistant and Assistant Vice President. Pat had an obvious passion for her family. Her husband, Dean, was her soul mate, best friend, and love of her life. Having worked together most of their professional careers, they were inseparable and made each other complete. Pat was very proud of her children and the wonderful young adults that they have become. Words cannot do justice to how much she loved Matt, John and Sarah, and what they meant to her. Her children were a true blessing in Pat's life, along with her cocker spaniel, Webster. Pat's lifetime faith journey included Catholicism and more recently she became an active member of First United Methodist Church of Appleton were she volunteered in numerous ways. Throughout her lifetime Pat had many varied interests which she pursued and enjoyed. Since her youth, she was an avid golfer and was currently a member of North Shore Golf Club in Menasha. Pat enjoyed her many travel opportunities with Dean and most recently fell in love with Sedona, Arizona. A very creative and artistic person, Pat constantly busied herself with home projects such as painting, decorating and baking. She was an enthusiastic Packer, Brewer and Badger fan. Pat will always be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, great sense of humor and her love for family. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Dean; her children Matthew, John and Sarah; her parents, Bob and Jean Greinert; her sister, Mary Greinert; and her brothers, Tim and Tom Greinert. Funeral services for Pat will be at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 325 East Franklin Street, Appleton, with Dr. Doyle Blanton officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Pat?s name at Appleton Medical Center Foundation to benefit the Martha Siekman Cancer Center. Pat?s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Clark H. Boren, Dr. William C. Guenther, Dr. David B. Anderla, and Dr. Anthony Eclavea, as well as the entire staff of both Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology SC, and the Martha Siekman Cancer Center, for their loving care.

Psalm 23 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
