I am Alan's granddaughter & Steve's daughter. In the 1990s I visited Aunt Pat with my dad many times during my visits home from college on breaks or during the summer. I will remember Aunt Pat for her warmth, easy conversation, and ready laughter. My condolences to the many friends and family who loved her.
Betsy (Wentzel) Frank left a message on March 3, 2021:
I have many fond memories of spending afternoons playing at the Better’s home. Pat always had a smile and welcomed me warmly. Besides being there for her family she lovingly cared for grandma in their home. My deepest condolences Mary Pat and family.

Aunt Pat was one-of-a-kind who will be deeply missed by so many. Her generous heart, easy smile and laughter, and her prodigious memory of family and friends of the past were just a few of her hallmarks. I love you, Aunt Pat and have been so blessed to know you.
