Jody Watson left a message on April 6, 2009:
Aunt Pat will always be in the hearts that loved her. I know words cannot heal, only time, but the following poem was given to me and it comes from the heart! "That One Glorious Moment In everyone's life, there eventually comes that one glorious moment, where joy and grief meet face to face in an earthly second; where the seam between heaven and earth is suddenly invisible; when the last human intake of breath becomes an angel's exhale-in that one glorious moment. That one glorious moment is simultaneously terrifying and awesome. It gracefully presents itself and then exits at the same time. Within the same instant, sadness is mixed with contentment, pain with relief, fear with faith. Eyes and ears and hearts are opened, and the absolutes of life are suddenly crystal clear-in that one glorious moment. Someone who knows the inevitable will try to fight that one glorious moment; others will fearlessly envelop it with all their remaining strength; yet faith assures that in either case, the path to "the other side" is gentle and it is a most blessed place to call home! Accompanied by the most beautiful trumpet fanfare, the brightest sunshine, the bluest sky, and embraced by angels, the soul is brought into its own-in that one glorious moment. Those who have gone before await with welcoming arms; those left behind mourn with empty arms. Tears will drop and tears will dry, and happiness will eventually return. Life on earth will continue, but forever be changed, and a new angel will appear in heaven, which will be forever blessed - in that one glorious moment." Wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayer. Sorry we can not be there for the funeral with Larry being in Texas. YOur mom was a very sweet lady and i always enjoyed talking to her. i did have the chance to see her a few times at the nursing home while my grandma was there.
