Pamela J. Lowery

February 3, 1963 — October 1, 2020

Pamela J. Lowery was called home on October 1, 2020 with her family by her side after her 14- month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Pam was born February 3, 1963 in Chicago and graduated from Chicago Public Schools in practical nursing in 1981. She was employed with ThedaCare as a Telemetry Technician for over 38 years.

Pam raised three wonderful girls, Tanya, Jamie and Staci. She met her best friend, Wayne Lowery, in July of 2012, who she married on February 14, 2015.

Pam enjoyed running and riding Harleys across the country with her husband and friends. She was full of energy and had a passion for moving items in the house so no one could find anything. She was grateful for the many friends in her life. Pam was a friend of Bill W. for over 24 years. She had a strong faith along with a heart for connecting with others. She treasured her time with her children and grandchildren. Pam will be remembered for her smile, contagious laughter and joyful spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Dorothy Lukaszka. Pam is survived by her husband Wayne, her children: Tanya (Doug) Benoit, Jamie (Mike) Krueger, and grandchild Sophia, Staci (Wes) Mincks and grandchildren Mila and Zoe, her best fur friend Dakota and grand dog Lyla. She is also survived by her siblings: James (Darcy) Lukaszka, Edward (Karen) Lukaszka, Sharon Jann, and Kathy Dann, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Pam will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 10,at Pathways Church, located at 311 Evergreen Drive in Appleton. The funeral service itself will be for family only, but will be livestreamed at this site at 12:00 Noon on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers or donations, Pam asks that you take a moment to hug your loved ones as time waits for no one.

Due to current circumstances, the family is asking that masks be worn and social distancing be in place. We want to honor Pam, but it’s important that everyone is safe.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ballard, Lisa C., Dr. Chen, ThedaCare Cancer Center, and ThedaCare At-Home Hospice caregivers for providing care and compassion.
