Jane Cryan left a message on June 29, 2014:

Recently, I purchased an old Jesse French piano. Inside the piano, written in pencil, was the tuner's log which covered some 25 years of consecutive tunings on the instrument. The technician also left his Piano Tuner's Guild membership number, 440, and his initials, O.G., and it was through that information that I discovered his name - Otis Graves. Mr. Graves did an fine job of maintaining the piano and I look forward to many years of playing it. I was hoping that Mr. Graves was still on Earth so I could meet him and ask him who once owned the piano but, alas, I am ten years too late. His obituary has given me so much information about him that I now feel I know Mr. Graves a little bit. I have placed a copy of his obituary inside the piano bench where Mr. Graves sat off and on for 25 years and I will share his interesting life with anyone who will listen.
