BOWEN, OLETTA R. “Chic”

Oletta Bowen, age 80 years, of Forest City, North Carolina died Sunday, May 7, 2006 at Cherry Meadows. She was born December 22, 1925 in Montreal, Canada the daughter of the late Victor and Gladys (Paulson) Oldham. Oletta married John J. Bowen and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: Sheryl Bowen, Denver, CO; Kevin (Merry) Bowen, Menasha; Brian (Donna) Bowen, Dallas, TX and Karen Bowen of Menasha; grandchildren: Chris, Melissa, Kerry, Michael and Caroline; great-grandchildren: Tyler and Melissa; brother, Richard (Dale) Oldham, Ontario, Canada and her sister, Gloria (Brian) French of Cleveland, OH.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL. Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cherry Meadows or your local hospice organization are appreciated. A memorial service and inurnment will take place in Forest City, NC at a future date.
