When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice. – Cherokee Nora A Herrling (née Remmel) lived her life in just such a way. Nora's inherent love for people and curiosity about them is seen through the…

My deepest sympathies to the Herrling family in the loss of a wonderful human being. Nora was a gracious and loving Mother and friend. There are many pleasant memories I have of her, and of Dennis, who passed on at such a young age. Losing a parent is always a difficult happening, but know that she will be missed by all of us who knew her. God bless all of you.

Nora was one of the most loving people I have ever met. I worked with her at the CCC and would see her greet clothing donors and make them feel special. Her smile and laugher were infectious - she was so kind to everyone. She will be truly missed by many people.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

We are deeply saddened by this loss. As far as we are concerned, she was the best person on this earth. Her patience, laughter and caring disposition will be among our fondest memories of her. The world has lost an extrodinary person that we will never forget. She is truly my second mom.

Nora was the Aunt I loved dearly since a very young age. Selflessly kind and endlessly empathetic are my words to describe her. She lovingly asked me to play for her young students when I visited Appleton 40 years ago. I could hardly play! Only been at it a couple years, and I was beyond nervous. Yoday, I often reflect on that touching gesture, as I entertain audiences today. Sweet Nora had so much LOVE to give....❤️
