HAHN, MYRTLE J.

Myrtle J. Hahn, age 87, of Black Creek, formerly of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hosptial. She was born on July 30, 1924 in New London, the daughter of the late Urban and Ella (Post) Gruentzel. On September 1, 1943 she married Howard Hahn in Appleton. Myrtle enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.

Myrtle is survived by her children: David (Kathy) Hahn and Sandra (Mel) Giebel, both of Black Creek; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; grandson, Dan Giebel and her brothers: Simon, Charles, Raymond and Clarence Gruentzel.

The funeral service for Myrtle will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 4, 2011 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME. Fr. Donald Zuleger will be officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
