Muriel L. Rammer

Muriel Rammer, age 89, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013. She was born on March 5, 1924, in the Town of St. Lawrence, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Schwanke) Suehs. Muriel graduated in 1941 from Little Wolf High School in Manawa. On June 25, 1949, Muriel married Chester Rammer in Manawa. She was employed over the years at AAL, Sears, and Master Masonry. Muriel was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Appleton.
She is survived by her children: Michael (Karen) Rammer, Rebecca (Rick) Griesser, Gail Rammer, Karen (Jack) Rammer, Scott (Gwen) Rammer, and Paul (Chris) Rammer; proud grandmother of fifteen grandchildren: Sarah Rammer; Rich (Samantha) Griesser and Emily Griesser; Julie Veternick and John Veternick; Luke Bartelt; Andy, Katie, Daniel, and Elizabeth Rammer; Matthew Rammer, Melissa (Joe) Thiel, Nicole (Ray) Berna, James Rammer, and Stephanie Rammer; and great grandson: Isaac Griesser. Muriel is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and her cat, Sheba. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester; two sisters: Sylvia and Evelyn; and a brother, Carl, Jr.
The funeral service for Muriel will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Wichmann Funeral Home downtown chapel. Rev. Judy Deckert will be officiating. Committal services will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am until the time of service.
