May God grant you peace and love at this time. It was my pleasure to bring many books to Muriel each month from the library. She was a voracious reader!! Muriel was a lovely person to know! She accomplished much in this lifetime.

Butch was a great classmate in New Ulm. I have many memories from eight years. I look forward to seeing her again.
Win and Barb Vatthauer left a message on April 4, 2017:
From our home to Muriel's (Butch) family come loving thoughts and prayers to all. She was always good for a laugh and good time, although we were not in the same dorm at New Ulm. If I remember correctly, I last saw her when she came with Elsa to my husband's last class reunion in the Dells. "But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for he has been good to me." Psalm 12:4-5 We celebrate with you that goodness and love of God we ponder at this season and as we once again sing our Hallelujahs on Easter Sunday.

One of my family's fond remembrances of Muriel was the trip she made with us when we moved from the Apache Indian Mission in Peridot, Arizona to our new home in Florida. Our oldest daughter Jennifer-2 years old at the time- was kept busy by Auntie "Butch" singing many songs-"Little Rabbit Foo-Foo" being the all time favorite- and reading lots of books. Linae-6 wks. old was held and lovingly attended by Muriel. She was a natural with kids.
