Miss JoeAnne Marlene Platukis

JoeAnne Platukis, age 68, a long-time resident of the Fond du Lac area, was promoted to glory on  January 15th, 2020 at Alten Haus in Neenah, Wisconsin.

She was born in on April 30, 1951 in Rockford, Illinois to Joseph and Betty (nee Holmes) Platukis.

In June of 1976  JoeAnne was ordained as a minister for the Salvation army.  In a career shift, she took a position as a childcare provider at the Fond du Lac Salvation Army daycare and she stayed there until she retired.

JoeAnne loved good food, animals and enjoyed going to church.

JoeAnne is preceded in death by  her dad Charlie Smith, her mother Bettie Smith, her father Joe Platukis, her good friend Debbie Renaud, and her sister Marjorie Bengtson.

She is survived by her children, HopeMarie Ziemba (Doc),  Edward Wiskow,  sister RaeAnn Minitt,  grand children Ian Ebert, Cameo and Eric Lund, Donte and William Wiskow,  God-daughter Cathenkeliner Rash. and many nieces and nephews

Services for JoeAnne will be held at The Salvation Army, 237 N. Macy, Fond du Lac on Febuary 1st at 4:00 PM.  Visitation will be held at the Salvation Army following the services.
