Age 96, died Tuesday afternoon, July 17, 2001 in her home at The Heritage. She was born June 17, 1905 in Middletown, Ohio, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Swigart and married Donald L. Stark on August 12, 1932. Mildred , her husband and three children moved to Appleton in 1951. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Appleton Medical Center Auxiliary. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Patricia Stark, Oshkosh; two daughters, Donna Stark, El Cajon, California; Marianne Stark Berenz, Evanston, Illinois; four grandchildren, Pamela Peyer, Brad Stark, Linda LaCroix and Amy Berenz; five great grandchildren, Brianna, Briel and Brittany Peyer, Bailey and Sydney Stark; and a sister, Helen Pallas. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Stark, April 15, 1989 and a brother, LeRoy Swigart. A memorial service for Mildred will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday at The Heritage Chapel, 2600 S. Heritage Woods Drive, with Reverend Joyce Rich officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund is being established.
