Mildred H. Rocheleau

Mildred H. Rocheleau, age 95, passed away at home on Sunday, November 23, 2014. She was born in Menasha on April 5, 1919 to the late Carl and Christine (Schmidt) Kloepfel. Mildred graduated from Menasha High School in 1937, and went on to work as a secretary. On October 6, 1945, she married Edward J. Rocheleau and the two spent 60 close years together until his passing in 2005. Mildred was a dedicated homemaker. In 1983, Edward retired from Banta, and the two moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mildred returned to Wisconsin in 2008. Mildred enjoyed socializing and interior decoration. Her greatest passions were music, singing, and the Green Bay Packers. She was a meticulous lady and also had a very strong artistic side that showed through. Mildred always cared for and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Mildred is survived by her caring and supportive daughter, Susan Rocheleau; sister: Elaine Kloepfel; many nieces and nephews, including her special niece, Marlene Johann.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Joseph Rocheleau; sisters: Grace (Bob), Marian (Tony), and Lorraine (Greg); her loving brother: Willie; special nephew: Bill; sisters-in-law: Gen and LaVerne; step mother: Wanda

A funeral service for Mildred will be held at 9:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME-LAEMMRICH CHAPEL. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 7:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
