Mike- How much i miss walking past your room and not seeing you there. I wish so much i was there for you and your family. We were looking forward to the walks outside in your new chair. You were really one of the few that stood out to me. I will truly miss you. Thank you for wishing me the best of luck before I went on vacation. Im sorry I wasnt there for you on your last days. I will remember you for always. Mike touched me in ways many residents have not, I looked forward to my days with him. When he got his new chair, I was overwhelmed with excitement. The future is in sight!.. we explored the WHOLE building that day. I remebember thinking he can help me with the garden in the summer, and i can get some "away time" from work..but when in reality he was part of my work. Never seemed that way. Thank you! I will truly miss mike, he was such a kind hearted thoughful person. Thank you for making my job worthwhile. Thank You. Miss You Mike! Thank You for being a great person/resident/friend/mentor Katie

Laurie, i am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, no matter how old we get our parents still are so important in our lives maybe because we are always our parents "kids" and that makes us feel young. My prayers are with you. Donna (Goodman) Winterfeldt
