Karen, I remember the night you came to Neenah. Mike was looking for a position as announcer at WNAM. I was impressed with this young couple and we struck a deal. I remember Mike as a personable, capable guy. He told me one time that he read at least a book every night as he worked the night shift at WNAM. I was impressed. I was further impressed when I learned that he was teaching at the Tech and when he started his own production company. Mike was a neat guy and I am sorry for your loss... our loss, actually. Jack Speech, WNAM 1967-1972
I had the pleasure of having Mr. Syverson as an instructor the late 90's. He was a fantastic, knowledgeable, inspiring man. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
You were a real friend and golf companion to me during our years at the Tech. I've missed seeing and conversing with you these past years since I retired to Arkansas. You lived your life according to your rules and passions, and were truly a renaissance man.
Goodbye my friend.
