Karen and family, I'm so sorry to hear about your son. I didn't know him but if he was anything like you, he was a great guy. There's no words that take the pain away. 8 know, it's been 20 years and I can still smell her perfume. Take consolation in the fact we had them with us for a while, and they left us with beautiful grandkids. There's going to be a lot of what ifs, and always wonder, but we have great memories and we keep their memories alive for their children. And I know your a great grandmother. If you ever need to talk or just want to come spend a few days, your always welcome anytime. love you guys.

Karen & dad: I am so very sorry for the loss that comes to you so terribly unexpected. I really wish that you did not have to go through this horrible pain. I too know the pain of a loss of a child, a son. And when we lose one we lose a piece of our heart too!! I really would never wish this on any other parents. Sometimes people had said to me that you will get over it, you don't. But you do learn to live with it. Make sure and plan to be with other family or friends on those hard anniversary dates- his birthday, his date f passing, etc... and you can continue some of Michaels favorite things through teaching them to his beautiful daughters. God bless you!

Katie & (Derrick)- I am truly so sorry that you lost your only brother, it's so devastating. Know that you are in out thoughts and prayers, and we are here for you if there is anything we can do- to help we are more than happy to do that. I have met many people that know Michael through his motorcycle riding, his past work at Summers Manufacturing and other places here in Devils Lake and have heard so much about what a wonderful guy and free spirit he was. I am so glad that you were blessed to have a wonderful brother in your life- (not all brothers are kind to you). I hope cherishing those memories and times with him gives you comfort. We will keep all of you in our prayers.

Michelle- I pray that God will comfort you & give you strength, and guidance as you parent 2 beautiful girls, now who have lost their dad at such a young age. They are so fortunate to have a warm and loving mother as you. Children will go through different stages as they grow up as far as understanding their dad's passing- and even in their grieving. They will have different questions at different stages in their life. I have lots of materials that I could give you, if you would like at any time for Chloe and Camden are more than welcome to them. God bless you and your two beautiful little girls, I hope you are doing OK.

We will keep all of you in our prayers.

Please accept our sincere sympathy on the loss of Michael. We are very sorry to hear the news. He was always so proud of his family and his beautiful girls. We were lucky to have him as a part of our group and call him brother. We wish we could have put more miles on with him and have the warm wind in our faces. We will miss him very much.

My deepest sympathy go to you all. Mike was a very good friend to my ex husband and I. He still remained good friends to us after as well. His laugh and jokes will be missed by us North Dakota friends who loved to be around his presents it was always a good time when he was. The first time I met Mike he was very nice and respectful with keeping everyone comfortable at a Birthday party for Barb! He then soon worked with my ex husband at Summer's
He was also someone who you could go to and vent and he'd always give you good advice. We went on motorcycle rides with Mike as well when he invited us. I also purchased my first .22 meg from Mike and still have it as I'm saving it for my boys to have the first gun their mom bought. I'll be able to tell them about who I bought it from and how much it meant to him about boys learning to have safety when out target shooting. As mike helped my older son and my son's step dad teach him the right and wrongs of gun safety when they went out shooting one year.

Mike keep watch over them beautiful little girls and share your many laughs and jokes in heaven! Your gonna be missed by so many especially your daughter's.
