"Mike"...just the mention of his name, you can't help but remember his incrediable smile. I'll never forget how he insisted on being in every picture. Or when he would play all Elvis songs on the juke box and Jeff would tell him to stop because he was chasing the customers away. Kennedy said, "It's just not fair that Uncle Mike is gone." She is right; but as we held each other I told her about these memories and we were able to laugh above the tears.

My deepest condolences to the entire family and friends of Mike. He will be missed deeply my the residence and friends here at Richmond Terrace. He was a very good neighbor to me and I miss him so much and his smiling face. I only had a short time seeing him in the hall ways and up and down the elevators but he was so very polite and so much joy to talk with. We were all so very sadden by his passing. He lite up every place he went. I have never met a happier man. I had a friend who had the pleasure of working with him also who was touched by his loss. Mike has touched so many souls that I do not think he ever really realized it. Please know that Mike was loved by a lot of people and his smiling face and warm greetings of others stood him out for so many of us and will never be forgotten. Our blessings and thoughts are with all of you at this time. Mikes neighbor Lynnejoy

I knew Mike when he worked at the Shawano Evening Leader. I don't think I ever saw him when he wasn't smiling. He had to work with some goof-offs, but he just kept at it until everything was finished to his satisfaction. He was a kind, caring, sharing, loving man. He will be missed!

Where to start with Mike, one man that always, I mean always was there to pick you up when things were not going your way. He was honestly the most positive person I had the pleasure of knowing. He always had an opinion, but one that was very thought out and welcomed in conversation. We have lost a great man and he will be greatly missed by many, many people. A toast to Fitz, gone but never forgotten!

I met Mike through the Gaier Family, he was always such a fun and kind person to be around. Mike was always willing to help anyone that he could, he always did it with a smile. My heart goes out to Marilyn and her son, his family and friends. The Gaier family meant the world to Mike, when he talked about the three Gaier children you could just tell how much he loved kids. From High School, I remember Mike was a sweet, hard working responsible guy who liked to have fun. I remember when Jeff and Denise got married how he popped into all of the pictures people were taking. I couldn't believe at that time that he hadn't been married, because he was a catch since he was good looking, responsible, fun loving and great with kids. My heart goes out to all of you. You have lost a true gem.
