Age 48, passed away at home on Sunday, November 25, 2001, following a brief but courageous fight against cancer. At his side throughout his struggle was his loving wife Gail (Rice) Jeanneret. Michael was born on June 11, 1953, in Euclid, Ohio. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Michael married Gail in Orlando, Florida, on October 12, 1980. Although he had a successful career as a computer consultant, Michael felt that his greatest success in life were his and Gail’s children, Alex (15) and Sara (11). Michael will be missed by his wife and children; his parents, Harry and Eula Jeanneret, Winter Park, Florida; his mother-in-law, Gladys E. Rice, Appleton; his brother Robert (Doreen) Jeanneret; his sisters, Lyn (Michael) Strong and Cozette (Tom) Davis; his in-laws, Judy (Robert) Buckingham, Susan Bachman, Thomas (Rosemary) Rice, Roddy Rice, Michael Rice, William (Paula) Rice, Kelly (Kip) Johnson; numerous loving nieces and nephews; and the countless friends, many who often sought Michael’s help with their computer problems. Michael was greeted in death by his grandparents, William and Beatrice (Fink) Schultz: Leon and Jane (King) Jeanneret; and his father-in-law, Gordon E. Rice, all whom surely are proud to welcome him. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Michael’s professional family at Diversified Data Systems, Green Bay; the caregivers at Affinity Ministry Home Care; and a special thanks to nurse Sandy Fenendal and special neighbor Kathy Croff; the Mitchell family; Father Patrick and the congregation of All Saints Episcopal Church, Appleton. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, at ALL SAINTS EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 400 East College Avenue, Appleton.
