Such a belated message, but was so hard to grasp the thought of Mel's passing. I worked with Mel many years ago in Fargo and have such amazing memories of her beautiful soul & personality. I was blessed to have been able to stay in touch via Facebook over the last few years and am so saddened by this loss. My heart and prayers continue to be with Mel's family, especially her boys.

Lance and boys..You are in our thoughts and prayers! I wish I could tell you all my Mel stories. How she could always make me laugh and taught me to not take myself so seriously! She LOVED her boys her friends, and her family. May she rest in peace in the embrace of Jesus.

The hearts of my family are truly aching for your family. Although I only met Mel once, I felt as if I'd known her forever. We reached out to help each other through horrific trials. Our family has been exactly where you are. . . I wish I could have done more to help her. My hope is that I can help all of you in some way with a listening ear and compassionate heart through the most difficult time of your lives. It's very clear from Facebook posts that Mel was VERY loved. Please don't hesitate to call me when you feel like you won't make it through another day. (Stacey Warmington has my number.) Reaching out FOR help and TO help will get you through this one day at a time. Feel the love that surrounds you. . .
