Allison (Foye) Clevenger
Age 80, of Appleton passed away after a prolonged battle on Sunday, March 17, 2002 at her home. She was born to the late George W. (Ethel E. Allison) Foye on February 25, 1922 in Greenwood, SC. She later married James Clevenger on October 31, 1954. She was employed at Fox Valley Technical College for 13 years as a cashier.
Survivors include four children: Sheri (John) Reindl, Weyauwega, Karen (Anthony) Jones, Brooklyn Park, MN, Tom (Shirley) Halverson, Appleton, Sheila (Paul) Hess Appleton; five grandchildren, Sarah Reindl, Lillian Halverson, Thomas Halverson Jr., Samantha Ziegler, and Adam Ziegler; three step-grandchildren, Lisa, Karen, and Brian Hess, and great grandchildren, Kyle and Cassandra. Allison is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James, brothers: Robert E. Foye and Eugene Foye, and her parents.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2002 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Virgie Davis officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at the funeral home from 4 – 7 PM and again Thursday morning from 10 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
She has now found Peace with the Lord.
