Age 43, died Wednesday morning December 18, 2002 at home following an 18 month battle with a rare form of cancer.

Mary was born in Little Chute October 10, 1959, the daughter of Henry and Rose Marie Kuhn and attended St. John Elementary and Little Chute High School. Following her graduation in 1978, Mary attended Fox Valley Technical College for 1 ½ years. On May 29, 1982 she married Dave Kohl. Over the years, Mary was employed by Recycling Unlimited Inc., Michels Materials, Miracle Ear and N & M Transfer. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the Catholic Knights for over 25 years, a Girl Scout Leader for Troop 104 and taught religion at St. Mary’s in Hilbert. Mary enjoyed cross-stitching, camping, swimming, family outings and gatherings.

Mary is survived by her husband Dave, and her three daughters Angela, Allison, and Annette, whom she will always cherish. Other loved ones include her mother, Rose Marie Kuhn; 6 sisters and their husbands, Margie (Jim) Cotter, Appleton; Marilyn (Roy) Kuhtz, New Berlin; Kathy (John) Janssen, Freedom; Doris Kuhn, Little Chute; Patti (Dennis) Sonkowski, Hilbert; Debra (Nick) Kiesow, Appleton and her brother, Steve Kuhn, Shiocton. She is further survived by her mother in law, Shirley “Sis” Kohl, Appleton 2 brothers in law and 2 sisters in law, Diane (Paul) Holzschuh, Menasha; Dan Kohl, Kaukauna; Donna Gerken, Menasha; Dennis Kohl and friend Lori, Seymour; and her nieces and nephews; Larry and friend Lori, Mike and Celeste, Michelle, Jackie and friend Bill, Jenny and friend B.J., Marie and friend Colin, Melissa, Jessica, Ben, Breanne, Crystal, Kim, Alan, Chris and friend Jay, Denise, Carl and Megan, Kyle, Jessy, Amber, Dylan, Tegan and a soon to be great nephew, Benjamin. Further surviving Mary are her many dear friends whom she also loved very much. Mary was preceded in death by her father Henry and her father in law Clayton.

The Funeral Liturgy will be on Saturday December 21, 2002 at 10 a.m. at ST. JOHN CATHOLIC CHURCH 323 Pine St., Little Chute with Monsignor James Vanden Hogen officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Tri-County Chapel on Friday from 4 until 8 PM and on Saturday at church from 9 a.m.until the time of the service. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
