Pat (Garv) and family. My heart is filled with sadness that Mary Lou has gone to her heavenly home. She was one of the sweetest, kindest person I have ever met. Always had a smile and nice things to say about everyone she ever met. It was always an honor to serve you and have conversations with you while I was working. May you Rest In Peace sweet Mary Lou, and go share some laughs with David H. I'm sure he has a few jokes for you. you will be forever in my heart. Peace

Spent a lot of time on hard bleacher seats with Mary Lou (and Pat and the rest of the Garveys) watching ball. Always enjoyed how she loved her family. Rest in peace in the big diamond in the sky. Love, The Rolain's

We deeply regret your loss. I loved Nigger which is what we called her in High School. My locker was next to her and we also played broom ball together. What a blessing to have known such a great Christian women.

Best friend with great personality ! Raised the bar of human kindness. She was a part of many successes, and was so helpful to my professional and personal wellbeing. Thanked her, miss her and will embrace what I learned.

To the Garvey family, relatives and friends of Mary Lou....I am still shocked and saddened to learn of Mary Lou's death. We worked together for years and there was never a kinder person or better friend! Since we retired, we had only irregular contact....and I knew that she was having some health problems, but I had no idea that she was fighting terminal cancer! As a matter of fact, I was thinking of her on Tuesday, before I was told on Wednesday that she had passed.... Mary Lou was a very special person! I will always miss her and love her.
